Festival of the Four Altars 2026: events dedicated to coral, cameo and the Torre del Greco tradition

Less than 24 hours remain until the start of the Festival of the Four Altars 2026, scheduled in Torre del Greco from 12 to 14 June.

This year too, the world of coral and cameo will be part of the event’s programme, through initiatives designed to enhance the Torre del Greco artisan tradition, the city’s memory and the cultural heritage linked to one of its most important excellences.

At the MAC3 Museum – Museum of Coral Art, Cameo and the City of Torre del Greco, a special opening is planned from 18:00 to 21:00, with live demonstrations of coral and cameo working. The initiative is curated by the Consorzio Corallo e Cammeo Torrese.

The visit to the MAC3 Museum requires mandatory booking on the website:
www.mac3.corallocammeotorrese.it

At the Church of San Michele – Ipogeo delle Anime, instead, the photographic exhibition “The Art of Tradition” by Carlo Falanga will be hosted, accompanied by live engraving demonstrations carried out by students of the IS Francesco Degni.

The initiative is promoted by Assocoral, IS Francesco Degni, Arciconfraternita del SS. Sacramento e San Michele Arcangelo and Gruppo Archeologico Vesuviano.

The Festival of the Four Altars represents one of the most significant moments for the city of Torre del Greco: an event that brings together history, devotion, popular culture and local identity.

In this context, coral and cameo return to take centre stage, telling a tradition that continues to live through the hands of artisans, the training of young people and the work of organisations committed to safeguarding and promoting this heritage.

We look forward to seeing you from 12 to 14 June to share these events together.
