Assocoral brings Torre del Greco coral and cameo to
JCK in Las Vegas with the support of ICE
From 29 May to 1 June, at the Venetian Expo in Las Vegas, JCK will take place, one of the most important international trade shows in the jewellery sector, alongside Vicenzaoro and Hong Kong.
At an event of such great prestige, the presence of one of Italy’s world-recognised excellences could not be missing: Torre del Greco coral and cameo.
Inside the Italian Pavilion, in Hall 3, stand 24005 will be entirely dedicated to Assocoral, the National Association of Coral, Cameo and Related Materials Producers.
The initiative is part of a broader project called “Assocoral on Stage”, which makes its debut in Las Vegas and, in the near future, foresees an already scheduled international roadmap, with a new stop in Hong Kong in September.
The project was made possible thanks to the support of ICE – Agency for the promotion abroad and the internationalisation of Italian companies, which welcomed and funded the proposal submitted by Assocoral.
“We sincerely thank ICE for accepting our proposal,” says Vincenzo Aucella, President of Assocoral. “This is not a one-off event, but a long-term project aimed at creating a clear, direct, scalable and replicable format in different international contexts. We are already working on new proposals, designed to meet the current needs of our sector. I would also like to thank the Board of Directors and all members who, through ongoing dialogue, support the association’s work and contribute to defining new goals.”
The Assocoral stand at JCK is an important opportunity to communicate the value of Made in Torre del Greco through different channels. The graphic impact of the exhibition space, created by Antonio di Rosa, guides the visitor through an elegant and evocative setting, inspired by the Teatro San Carlo, with a large audiovisual feature at its centre.
For the occasion, a promotional video dedicated to coral and cameo was produced, told through 2 female models and 1 male model in different style interpretations: from more “easy” jewellery, designed for everyday wear and a casual look, to iconic jewellery, true one-of-a-kind pieces, ideal for a special evening such as an opening night at the Teatro San Carlo.
The video was produced by Carlo Falanga and Salvatore Varo, made with the support of GAL Parthenope and filmed in some of Naples’ most prestigious locations: the Teatro San Carlo, the Hotel Santa Lucia and the Circolo Nazionale dell’Unione, with Kiton outfits.
Inside the stand, in addition to the digital content, visitors will also be able to admire jewellery live thanks to the presence of models who will wear coral and cameo creations, with outfit and jewellery changes during the trade-show days.
The information material available in the Assocoral space will also allow visitors to get in touch with the association and, above all, with the member companies.
“This action also fits into a broader vision,” Aucella concludes, “through which we seek to represent the entire sector: from the individual artisan to the large company, from those who produce coral and cameo semi-finished items for international maisons to those who create their own collections. This is the most important challenge, because we deeply believe in the sense of responsibility we have towards our sector, our members, our community and our city.”
