Following the press conference held at the Art High School of the “Francesco Degni” Institute in Torre del Greco, Assocoral is officially leaving for London to take part in the international event “Coral & Cameos – Catwalk and Exhibition”, scheduled for next April 15 at the Residence of the Italian Embassy.
The initiative is part of the calendar of the National Made in Italy Day and represents an important opportunity to promote, in a highly prestigious international setting, the coral and cameo sector, a historic and identity-defining excellence of Torre del Greco.
The London event will be structured around an exhibition and a fashion show, designed to present these productions not only as objects of fine craftsmanship, but as an authentic expression of a unique territory, where tradition, culture and artisanal know-how have been intertwined for centuries. Torre del Greco, in fact, is internationally recognized as the main center for coral and cameo processing.
Assocoral’s participation in this event represents a further step in the path of enhancing and internationalizing the district, with the aim of strengthening dialogue between businesses, institutions and foreign markets, while also promoting the central role of training and the transmission of artistic crafts.
Heartfelt thanks go to all the institutions that supported and made this initiative possible: the Italian Embassy in London, ICE – Agency (London Office), the Ministry of Enterprises and Made in Italy, and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation.
Assocoral thus confirms its commitment to representing and promoting, even beyond national borders, a unique heritage of skills, tradition and identity.
